John Staton III
John is a native of Buckingham County and grew up immersed in the world of radio. His passion for radio began after listening to countless air-checks with his dad and discovering his passion for the creativity available to radio jocks.
John got his start in radio doing part-time work at WFLO during his senior year of high school and he has stayed in radio ever since.
John hosts the Morning Show, the Friday Night Party, and serves as the production and program manager for WFLO.

Larry Burr
Larry Burr joined WFLO in 2023 as announcer, Call Flo co-host, and broadcast technical manager.
He has always had a passion for music. Larry has completely wired and connected several recording studios including his own. Larry is originally from the west coast and is a Navy veteran.
Outside of radio, Larry is an artist and he uses resin and wood as his medium. You will see him at art shows around the area. He is a musician himself and plays guitar, keyboards, trumpet along with being a singer song writer. Larry’s greatest passion is finding adventures with his wife Alicia. It would not be strange to see Larry under the hood of a car or engaged in a round of Call of Duty.

Danny Huskey
Born and raised in Farmville, VA, Danny's first job was working at his father’s gas station. Danny later graduated from Hampden Sydney College and worked in Richmond, VA for 38 years but always kept his strong ties to his hometown.
Now, Danny is back and excited to be Sales Manager at WFLO, looking forward to growing his connections with the local community and WFLO. In his free time, Danny enjoys spending time with his wife exploring area history, trying new restaurants, and attending sports events!

Francis Wood
Francis Wood is the former WFLO General Manager and a broadcast veteran with over 50 years of service in community radio and 2 time VAB president and lifetime member and inducted into the VA Communications Hall of Fame in 2015. He has returned to WFLO to host the Hit Train program on Saturday mornings and Call Flo on Wednesdays.
Francis is well-recognized by industry professionals and passionate about community involvement, having served on boards including the Farmville Chamber of Commerce, Centra Board of Directors, and more. Outside of radio, Francis is also a Virginia Master Naturalist, musician, and professional writer.


Christine "Chris" Wood
Chris Wood is a veteran radio professional with a beautiful voice. She is excited to join the WFLO team in producing content for the local community.
Chris can be heard on WFLO FM hosting Sunday Mornings with Chris and as a co-host of the Call Flo Radio Show on Wednesdays.
In her free time, Chris enjoys exploring new recipes — cooking and baking for herself and friends and family.
Christopher Brochon
Christopher Brochon is a veteran broadcaster having spent over 27 years with WFLO as an engineer and Call Flo Host. He hosts The Great American Songbook Show on Saturdays from 7 to 10 am.
Outside of radio, Chris is the Publicity and Box Office Manager for the Longwood University Theatre Department. Chris is passionate about learning and spends his free time reading, gardening, and restoring his '67 MG.
