Farmville Rotary Club Selects New Officers

The Rotary Club of Farmville inducted new officers and recognized award recipients during its annual celebration held at The Woodland on June 24. Community and Family Engagement Specialist Jennifer Kinne has assumed the role of president, succeeding Longwood University’s Dean of Students, Jen Fraley.

Vaccination scholarship program receives more local support

The Prince Edward County business community has continued to support the #VaccinatePrinceEdward COVID-19 Vaccination Scholarship Fund, which has now reached $20,000. In June, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors established the program to encourage student vaccinations, and provided $5,000 in funding.
