Buckingham Planning Commission Recommends Bed And Breakfast Permit

The Buckingham County Planning Commission has approved a recommendation for a proposed bed and breakfast and events venue. The proposal now moves to the full County SUpervisor board for a vote. Commissioner Sammy Smith was the lone no vote in supporting the proposed special use permit for the facility to be located at Old Thirteen Road and Route 607, just off West James Anderson Highway. Business owner Cynthia Henshaw says she wants to open a bed and breakfast facility, with the venue also being able to host social gatherings and special events or archery tournaments.
